Privacy Policy

This policy covers one thing: the email address you give this waiting-list page. It does not cover the Espresso IQ app, which has its own policy at launch.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Espresso IQ. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@espressoiq.com.
What we collect
Only your email address. Nothing else is collected through this form — no name, no phone number, no payment details.
Our servers also process a small amount of standard technical data on each request (your IP address and the time of the request) to guard the form against abuse and to record your consent, as described below. We do not build a profile from it.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
We use your email for a single purpose: to send you one message when the Espresso IQ founding-launch seats open. We do not send other marketing, and we do not sell or share your email.
Our lawful basis under the EU/UK GDPR is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see Your rights); withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew.
Recording your consent
When you submit the form, we store a short consent record so we can demonstrate you agreed (GDPR Art. 7(1)). It contains the time of submission, the IP address the request came from, and the exact wording of the consent you agreed to. It holds no data beyond that.
Who processes your data
We keep the waiting list with SendFox (our email service provider), which stores your email and delivers the launch message on our behalf. See SendFox's privacy policy at sendfox.com/privacy.
The page and form are served by Cloudflare, which also provides the bot check on the form. Cloudflare processes the technical request data described above.
Cookies
This page sets no analytics or marketing cookies. The only client-side storage used is what Cloudflare Turnstile — the "verify you're human" widget — needs to work. That is strictly necessary to protect the form and requires no consent banner.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until the founding-launch message has been sent and the list is retired, or until you unsubscribe — whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe, your email moves to a suppression record only long enough to make sure we do not email you again. The consent record is kept for the same period as evidence that your consent was validly obtained.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to object to or restrict its processing, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these:
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email we send you — that removes you from the list.
- Email us at hello@espressoiq.com for anything else, including deletion of your email and consent record before launch.
EU and UK residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
Children
This waiting list is not directed at children and is intended for people aged 16 or older. We do not knowingly collect the email of anyone under that age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For a page this simple, changes are expected to be minor.
